Olga Maksimovic is a Specialist in Internal Medicine with additional qualifications in Hematology and Oncology, as well as Palliative Medicine.

After earning her medical degree from Eberhard Karls University Tübingen, she completed her doctorate degree in dermatological oncology at the University Dermatology Clinic in Tübingen. Her residency training in internal medicine, hematology, and oncology was also completed at the University Hospital in Tübingen.

She later worked at the Klinikum am Steinenberg in Reutlingen, focusing on gastroenterology, diabetology, and hematology/oncology, eventually taking on the role of senior physician in hematology/oncology.

Dr. Maksimovic then joined the SRH Klinikum Sigmaringen as a senior physician, managing the hematology-oncology day clinic, outpatient oncology services, and a large inpatient unit focusing on hematology/oncology and palliative care. In this role, she also gained her palliative medicine certification.

Since July 2024, she has been part of the MVZ Tübingen team and is one of the medical directors.

Johannes von Keller is a specialist in internal medicine focusing on gastroenterology.

After studying human medicine at Eberhard Karls University in Tübingen, he completed his doctorate degree in 1998 in the field of population genetics research at the DKMS German Bone Marrow Donor Center.

His medical training was completed at the Esslingen Municipal Clinics and the Sindelfingen Municipal Hospital, where he was certified as a specialist in internal medicine in 2006. He began his subspecialty training in gastroenterology, which he continued at Klinikverbund Südwest (Böblingen) starting in 2007 and at Marienhospital Stuttgart as a senior physician from 2008, successfully completing it in 2011.

From 2013 onward, he ran a gastroenterology-focused practice in Tübingen, offering a wide range of diagnostic and therapeutic services in gastroenterology.

Since October 2024, Johannes von Keller has served as the medical director of MVZ Tübingen, continuing his gastroenterological practice here.

Prof. Dr. med. Peter Freisinger

Specialist in Pediatrics and Adolescent Medicine

Peter Freisinger studied human medicine in Erlangen, Rennes, and London. After two years at the Hôpital Necker, Paris, he joined the Children’s Hospital of the Technical University of Munich at Klinikum München Schwabing, where he completed his specialist training in pediatric, and adolescent medicine. He also qualified there in neonatology, pediatric endocrinology, and diabetology. He is particularly interested in congenital metabolic diseases.

From 2020 to 2024, Prof. Freisinger was the chief physician at the Clinic for Pediatric and Adolescent Medicine in Reutlingen.

Since 2024, he has headed the Center for Congenital Metabolic Diseases Tübingen and supports the MVZ Tübingen.

Specialist in Internal Medicine and Gastroenterology

Veit Scheble is a Specialist in Internal Medicine and Gastroenterology with a focus on Gastrointestinal Oncology.

After completing his medical degree at Friedrich Schiller University Jena, he worked for two years as a research assistant at the Institute of Pathology at Tübingen University Hospital (UKT) in the research group of Prof. Sven Perner. His doctorate thesis on prostate carcinoma was awarded by University of Tübingen. He moved to clinical medicine, initially to the Department of Hematology and Oncology, and after two more years to the Gastroenterology Clinic at the University Clinic Tübingen.

After qualifying as a specialist in internal medicine and gastroenterology, he was alternately responsible for the hepatology ward, the gastroenterology ward, and the infectious disease units while consistently leading chemotherapy day unit in Gastrointestinal Oncology. At the same time, he was the medical coordinator and senior consultantat the Center for Gastrointestinal Oncology at the Comprehensive Cancer Center (CCC) Tübingen-Stuttgart.

From 2020, he also acted as an organ expert and deputy head of the Molecular Tumor Board for gastrointestinal tumors.

Veit Scheble has been part of the MVZ Tübingen team since October 2023.

Specialist in Human Genetics

Saskia Biskup is a specialist in human genetics, the founder of Zentrum für Humangenetik, and Managing Director of CeGaT GmbH in Tübingen.

She studied human medicine at the University of Würzburg, where she was awarded her doctorate. Subsequently, she joined the MD/PhD program at the University of Würzburg and earned a Dr. rer. nat. in genetics from the Faculty of Biology (Chair of Genetics).

Her specialization in human genetics began in 2002 in Munich (under Prof. Meitinger). After nearly three years of research at Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore, USA, she resumed her training in Tübingen, completing it successfully in late 2009.

In 2009, she founded CeGaT GmbH together with her husband. CeGaT is a global provider of genetic analyses for various requests from medical practice, research and the pharmaceutical industry.

In 2010, she founded the Praxis für Humangenetik Tübingen, now the Zentrum für Humangenetik.
From April 2012 to the end of 2014, Saskia Biskup was part-time medical director of the Institute of Clinical Genetics at Olgahospital (Klinikum Stuttgart).

Since 2015, she has fully dedicated herself to her work in Tübingen. Her primary goal is to make diagnostics based on the latest scientific advancements accessible to patients. In the precision medicine of the future, diagnostics form the foundation for individualized and targeted therapies, with human genetics playing a central role.
